The five wingers Chelsea must look to sign this summer
Chelsea will remain active in the market as they look to ensure success under new head coach Enzo Maresca.
The club managed to reach sixth spot last season but their Europa League spot was displaced after Manchester United earned a surprise victory against Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
It looks as though Chelsea will lay their faith in Nicholas Jackson as their leading No.9, but they will want to add support on the flank with the addition of another inside forward.

Right now, the Blues have Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke on the right, plus Raheem Sterling is capable on that side. On the left, meanwhile, Mykhailo Mudryk and Sterling are the main choices.
Here, FootballTransfers goes through five players that Chelsea should look to bring in to Stamford Bridge.
Anthony Gordon
It’s been quite the rise for Anthony Gordon. Though Newcastle fans would care to forget, but there was a bit of an uproar when he was bought to St James’ Park from Everton for €45.6 million. But over the course of 18 months, he’s turned into one of the elite wingers in the Premier League.
Gordon, who provided 21 goal contributions in the division last season, was reportedly offered to Liverpool as Newcastle wrestled with PSR issues. They have appeared to amend their financial situation now, so Chelsea would have to lodge a major bid to even get them to the negotiating table.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Arguably the best winger on this list, is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who remains one of Napoli’s most prized players.
The Georgian being linked to elite sides is nothing new, but in recent days Napoli director Giovanni Manna has hinted that there could be outgoings during the remainder of the summer transfer window.
“There will be movements, as there is still a month of the market left, and we might make some additions,” he said. “This is a process, a project starting this year with the coach at its centre.”
Could a move for Kvaratskhelia be on the cards?

Oscar Bobb
Oscar Bobb had only 800 minutes of action at Man City last season. With such a glowing list of players already among the side who can play across the forward line, you would wonder if the young winger is looking at his options.
“I enjoyed last season a lot, but this season I want to play more, play a bigger part,” the 21-year-old recently revealed.
“Playing for this manager [Pep Guardiola] has always been a dream and if I have to wait a bit longer to eventually get more playing time, then I don’t mind.”
Bryan Mbeumo
Bryan Mbeumo represents one of the most dynamic and under-appreciated attackers in the Premier League. He possesses great finishing, dribbling, and speed.
Brentford have been anticipating the departure of Ivan Toney this summer window, but no offers have been forthcoming, and it appears that clubs have moved on to other targets.
The situation could be seen as a window of opportunity for a club to make a move for Mbeumo.
Nico Williams
Nico Williams has been linked with a move to Chelsea throughout the summer transfer window. Ultimately the issue came down to his wage demands.
Subsequent reports suggested that Barcelona were hoping to land the Spain international, before it seemed that he would, in fact, be staying with Athletic Club.
Chelsea have their wage structure in place, but if there was any player that they would break it for, it should be a talent like Williams.
