Reports explain that there is something of a culture war going on at Chelsea, with the two main stakeholders having competing views of the future of the club. There is a warning that 'incredible damage' could be done in the weeks and months ahead if the situation is not resolved.

Mbappe faces France axe

France captain Kylian Mbappe has had a difficult start to the season that could be about to get a whole lot worse, with the media tipping the Real Madrid striker to be dropped from the starting XI for Monday’s clash with Belgium in Lyon.

This comes after the forward was branded “unfit” and “disillusioned” during the 3-1 loss against Italy, which took place at PSG’s Parc des Princes.
