Man City line up STUNNING €300m transfer raid to tempt Guardiola stay
Manchester City have already outlined a €300 million plan to revamp their squad next summer despite uncertainty surrounding the future of Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola’s contract at the Etihad expires next summer and he has yet to decide his plans, with City chasing a staggering fifth successive Premier League title.
There is also the notion of City’s 115 charges by the Premier League for breaching financial rules, which could see the club handed significant punishments in the coming months.

However, City are still continuing to progress with their squad building and talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook has revealed the club’s main targets appear to be German stars Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz.
Both wonderkids have starred for club and country in recent times and City are hoping to bring the pair to Manchester as long-term replacements for Kevin de Bruyne, as well as adding depth to their attack after selling Julian Alvarez this summer.
Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze is also another player whom the club have admired in the long-term but he is not thought to be their top target despite the presence of a release clause in his contract.
City keen on ‘Wusiala’ to replace De Bruyne
It is understood that the ambitious move for Wirtz and Musiala has been given the green light by club owner Sheikh Mansour, who is hoping the €300m outlay will convince Guardiola to renew his contract no matter what happens with the charges against City.
However, it is believed De Bruyne could leave City next summer, with the 33-year-old entering the final year of his contract and already having admitted he would find a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League tough to turn down, having been pursued by the the league this summer.

A move for ‘Wusiala’ – a name given by German media to the partnership of Wirtz and Musiala – would allow De Bruyne to leave with City’s blessing, although they would face significant competition for both players.
Wirtz is thought to be Real Madrid’s top target next summer, while Bayern Munich are also interested, although Bayer Leverkusen have not given up hope of keeping the 21-year-old either.
Musiala, meanwhile, has been tracked by a number of clubs with his contract due to expire in 2026, however Bayern are said to be confident of extending his deal despite an impasse in negotiations so far.
