Man Utd could cut 'over half' squad members
Manchester United could cut over half of the players in the squad, according to reports,
The Red Devils are looking for an overhaul next year, states Sky Germany, and it's been suggested that there are a number of players who could be given the chop.
Florian Plettenberg reported on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Internally, Manchester United agree that over half of the players in the squad are serious candidates for sale in the winter or summer if good offers come in. Ruben #Amorim is to be given the opportunity to make a rebuild, which will require urgent sales.

"Currently, players considered unsellable include Diallo, Mainoo, Mazraoui, De Ligt, Yoro, Onana, and 2-3 other key players."
It's interesting that the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Mason Mount have been omitted from the list, meaning that they could be among those who are moved on next year.
Rashford's future at Man Utd remains uncertain
Likewise, Marcus Rashford is another whose name does not feature on the 'unsellable' list. There have been reports that the forward is now fighting to save his United career.
The Telegraph has revealed that the club believe that he is no longer as focused on his football and "number of off-field distractions that are affecting his performances."

The report still has an opportunity to change his fortunes new manager Ruben Amorim. He has scored three goals in five appearances under the club's new head coach, but there needs to be a huge change in his attitude and overall displays, it is thought.
Rashford missed out on the England squad for Euro 2024 after a terrible season under Erik ten Hag. He failed to impress and was unable to replicate the form he had in the 2022/23 season, the campaign in which he netted 30 goals in all competitions, his career-best. But since then, Rashfford has regressed and now his future at Old Trafford is under question.
