Cristiano Ronaldo signs new Al-Nassr contract: Saudi club drop hint over DREAM scenario
Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be edging towards a new contract with Al-Nassr, with the Saudi Pro League side dropping the greatest indication yet that the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star is set to commit his future to the club.
Ronaldo is out of contract in June, leading to speculation that he could be on his way for a new adventure.
The Portugal international, who is seeking the landmark of 1000 career goals, has suggested that he is ready to sign a new deal with Al-Nassr, while the club has published a video on social media in apparent reciprocation.
Al-Nassr’s message to Ronaldo
On a video published on Al-Nassr’s social channels, they sent a message to Ronaldo through the eyes of a supporter.
“Dear Cristiano, 10 years ago, I was just a child dreaming. My dream was to see you, to be like you. You were a star in my eyes and an inspiration for me. I would like to share some thoughts from the heart of a Nassrawi fan.
“It's been two years since you joined Al-Nassr, filled with unforgettable moments. In every match, we wore the Al-Nassr jersey with your name on it, and your presence on the field ignited our passion. Young and old cheered for you, raising our voices with love.

“After surpassing 900 goals, you have proven to the world that you are still capable of achieving the impossible, making us prouder of you than ever. We've seen you wearing the Saudi dress, and our pride in you is unmatched.
“Those moments reflected your connection to Saudi culture and showed us that you are an inseparable part of our nation. Today, I want to say that we will always stand by you because you are a part of our dreams. Thank you for everything you have given us. We look forward to more wonderful moments with you.
“With all my love and appreciation, Nassrawi Fan.”
Ronaldo drops Al-Nassr stay hint
Ronaldo had spoken earlier in the day about his satisfaction at Al-Nassr and in Saudi Arabia.
In quotes relayed by Ben Jacobs, he said: “I’m happy and my family is happy. We started a new life in this beautiful country. Life is good, football is good. The most important thing is to be professional, to push hard, respect the club, respect your contract and believe that things will change – for Al-Nassr to try to win more titles...
“The AFC Champions League is something I want to win for the club, but the most important is to keep pushing and be professional... I will continue to push and help Al-Nassr to win titles. I believe that this year will be a good year for Al-Nassr.”
It’s not official yet, but everything seems set: Cristiano Ronaldo will stay with Al-Nassr.
