The 32-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to the Brazilian outfit in recent days, with an “agreement” reportedly reached amid suggestions that Neymar’s contract at Al-Hilal could be terminated.

However, Zahavi has shut down such rumours and has insisted that Neymar isn’t looking to leave Saudi Arabia next year.

The super agent told Fabrizio Romano: “There are no talks ongoing for Neymar to leave Al Hilal. He’s under contract and very happy there.

“Neymar’s father and me, we are the only people who can talk about Ney’s future. I don’t know where recent rumours are coming from.”

Neymar has suffered with several different injury issues since joining Al-Hilal for €90 million from Paris Saint-Germain last summer and he has only racked up seven appearances in all competitions for the club.

The Brazil legend is currently sidelined with a hamstring issue and he is expected to return to competitive action in December.

In addition to interest from Santos, Neymar has been linked with reuniting with former Barcelona team-mates Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba at MLS side Inter Miami, while a return to Camp Nou has also been mooted.

However, Zahavi has confirmed that Neymar isn’t pushing to leave Al-Hilal, despite reports that he isn’t happy in Saudi Arabia.

Neymar to Santos off?

News that Neymar is set to remain at Al-Hilal comes after Palmeiras club president Leila Pereira ruled out a move for the 32-year-old.

She recently admitted to UOL (via The Daily Mail): “Great player, but he's going to Santos.

“I want to invest in someone who can come in immediately, who can start tomorrow if the coach decides.

“Palmeiras is not a medical department. I do not accept that a player signed by Palmeiras is not ready to play immediately.”
