In-demand Sancho and Haaland love playing in the same team
Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland are likely to be two of the most in-demand players when the summer transfer window opens.
The Borussia Dortmund duo have been on a spectacular run of form.
They combined to devastating effect in the 4-0 derby win away to Schalke on Saturday, with Sancho assisting an incredible acrobatic goal from Haaland.
That was one of two goals from Haaland, while Sancho himself netted the opener.
Sancho and Haaland have produced a combined 16 goals and nine assists in the last 11 games.
Dortmund are likely to have to sell at least one of their star players at the end of the season.

If they do, it would break up a fruitful partnership that both players are relishing and one that other clubs may dream of replicating in the future.
“He’s a goal machine,” Sancho said about Haaland after the win for Dortmund.
“I’m happy to assist his crazy goal, his first goal.
“On the training pitch, me and Erling work together so hard so I wasn’t surprised.
“I’m not surprised that he’s able to do some of the things he does on the pitch. He deserves all the credit.”
Pleasure to play with Sancho, says Haaland
Haaland was similarly complimentary about the England international winger.
“It was a nice goal,” Haaland said.
“Obviously it was a good assist from Jadon.
“We try to work [together] a lot and it’s a pleasure to play with this guy.”

Sancho was heavily pursued by Man Utd last year, but Dortmund held firm over their demands to frustrate the Premier League giants.
He had a slow start to 2020/21 but has recaptured his form at the perfect time under new Dortmund boss Edin Terzic.
Haaland has also been targeted by United, as well as a host of Europe’s top clubs, in the past.

His spectacular statistics have gone from strength to strength.
Former Salzburg striker Haaland has 17 goals in as many Bundesliga games, plus eight from five games in the Champions League to top the scoring charts in that competition.
