Why Leroy Sane is finally showing his class for Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich strolled to another victory on Wednesday night when they confidently thumped Dynamo Kyiv 3-0 in the Champions League.
As is usually the case with the German giants, Manuel Neuer made pivotal saves, Joshua Kimmich pulled the strings and Robert Lewandowski added to his impressive tally in the competition.

However, what is also becoming more and more common under new manager Julian Nagelsmann is that winger Leroy Sane was at the heart of everything in attack and once again put in a tremendous performance.
Not only was the former Manchester City star on hand to thread a ball through to Serge Gnabry to score Bayern's third on the night, but he also then made it four just six minutes later with a cross-turned-shot from the left wing that floated into the back of the net.

It wasn’t long ago that the Allianz Arena faithful were booing the forward player after a poor performance but Sane now looks back to his very best in Munich. So what's changed?
Why Sane has suddenly improved
The main reason behind Sane’s impressive change in form for Bayern comes down to a tactical switch from Nagelsmann.
Rather than play him on the right wing as a traditional winger, Nagelsmann has instead shifted the player to the left flank, where he has instead been played as an inside forward. And it has worked wonders.
Leroy Sane now has four goals and seven assists in his first 10 games of the season for Bayern Munich. He's back.

For example, in his last seven games for Bayern on the left wing, Sane has bagged a remarkable four goals and eight assists - including important contributions against the likes of RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and Barcelona in the Champions League.
As Man City fans can attest to, Sane is a tremendous finisher of the ball and one of the best in Europe in small spaces in the opposing box. Now, finally, he seems to be showing it for Bayern.
