‘Here we go!’ - Romano announces FIRST major January transfer

Fabrizio Romano has announced the first major transfer of the January window, with Bayern Munich set to snap up Real Zaragoza winger Bryan Zaragoza on a €15 million deal.
Although the Bundesliga champions are primarily in the market for a central midfielder, they have moved to snap up the highly rated left winger from a side struggling in LaLiga’s relegation zone.
Zaragoza has signed a contract with Bayern that runs until 2028 but will remain at Granada until the end of the season as he helps them fight the threat of a rapid return to LaLiga 2.
Romano took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to announce: "Bryan Zaragoza to FC Bayern, here we go! Understand Spanish winger has already completed first part of the medical tests.
"Bayern will pay €15m to Granada to sign Bryan for next season, now staying on loan until July to help Granada.
"Contract until June 2028."
Although part of a Granada side struggling in LaLiga, Zaragoza has put up some impressive individual numbers while playing either as a winger or an attacking midfielder. He has five goals and two assists in 14 appearances, during which he has shown both quality and versatility.
Zaragoza has enjoyed particular success when playing off the left wing and scored twice against Barcelona in a 2-2 home draw against the defending champions.
Zaragoza a star of the future
His breakout status this season means that Zaragoza still has a low Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of just €1.7m, but his rapidly rising reputation is set to see that soar in the months ahead of him arriving at Bayern Munich. His ETV has already risen by a factor of 10 since the beginning of the season.
Underlining Zaragoza’s improvement this season has been the fact that he already has as many goals as he scored last season and more assists.
This earned him a call-up to the Spain national team, for whom he claimed his first cap in a Euro 2024 qualifying encounter against Scotland.
Having elevated himself into the thinking of Luis de la Fuenta ahead of the European Championship, he will aim to maintain his level until the end of the season.
