Davies agent DENIES Real Madrid agreement and hints at Bayern Munich stay
The agent of Alphonso Davies has denied that his client has already agreed to join Real Madrid after intense speculation linking the defender with an exit from Bayern Munich.
Davies is in the final year of his contract with Bayern and Real are believed to have held talks to convince the Canadian to join the club on a free transfer next summer.
Real had tried to sign Davies during the summer but they failed to meet Bayern’s valuation for the Canadian international, with the German outfit still hoping to tie their star left-back down to a new deal.

The likes of Barcelona and Manchester United are also believed to have tried to sign Davies but the 24-year-old is thought to be holding out for Real.
And reports in Spain emerged this weekend that Davies had already struck an agreement with Real which would become final in January but the player’s agent, Nedal Huoseh, has poured cold water on the speculation while also insisting that staying at Bayern has not been ruled out.
“This is not true, though the player has many options, we have not agreed terms with any club,” Househ told journalist Phillipp Kessler. “Bayern could also be an option. Any reports suggesting otherwise are incorrect.”
Real looking to repeat Mbappe trick to secure Davies
Spanish outlet Marca had detailed Real’s pursuit of Davies, stating that the La Liga giants had convinced the 56-cap star to hold off on renewing his deal or signing for another side.
Real had succeeded with a similar approach for Kylian Mbappe and they are also believed to be trying to sign Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold in a similar manner, with his deal also set to expire next summer.
Davies is believed to have rejected Bayern’s latest offer and looks likely to disappoint the club by leaving on free, with the Bundesliga side having hoped to have at least raised some money by selling him.
Despite the denial from Davies’ agent, Real are expected to finalise the signing of Davies when the January transfer window opens, at which point he will be freely available to sign a pre-contract agreement with any side.
