Monaco left-back Caio Henrique says it is a "pleasure" to be linked with the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian was in good form for his current side in the 2020/21 season, starting 26 Ligue 1 matches and recording four assists.

His performances helped Monaco return to the Champions League qualifying positions after years towards the middle and bottom end of the table.

The principality side are running the risk of losing him this summer, however, as he is reportedly a wanted man.

Both Barcelona and PSG are in the market for a new full-back, and have apparently earmarked Henrique for a potential transfer.

Though the player himself didn't provide any update on whether any contact has been made with those clubs, he did state pride at having been linked with them.

"I am very calm with all this," he told Goal.

"I try not to get involved and concentrate only on [what happens on the] pitch and I leave it (transfer business) in the hands of my representatives.

"Of course, it is a great pleasure to hear about these very important clubs, but I have my feet on the ground and I always try to do my best, no matter where I am playing. I am very focused and committed to the jersey that I wear, and that will never change."

Future PSG team-mates?

Henrique was then asked about his potential future team mates in the French capital - Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Angel Di Maria.

When pressed to answer who has proved his toughest opponent so far, the Brazilian was unable to choose, eventually praising all three.

"It is difficult to pick one, they are three spectacular players," he added.

"Mbappe has his explosiveness and dribbling as a strong point, while Neymar, in addition to his dribbling, has a lot of ability in finding space.

"Di Maria is also difficult to face. I think that all three in some way create a lot of difficulties."
