Koeman: No more sack talk!

Ronald Koeman is refusing to entertain any more questions about being sacked as Barcelona manager.
Koeman is under huge pressure at Camp Nou after a miserable past week at the club.

The Blaugrana were thrashed 3-0 at home last week in the Champions League by Bayern Munich in a match in which they didn’t have a single shot on goal.
Then, on Monday, Barca could only manage a 1-1 home draw against Granada after trailing for 88 minutes.

These poor results have led to talk that Koeman risks the sack, with calls from fans for the Dutchman to be shown the door.
What did Koeman say?
"I'm not going to talk about my future anymore,” Koeman told reporters after the match against Granada.
"Today's Barca is not the Barca of eight years ago.
"We played Barca's way, but we don't have the speed on the break because [Philippe] Coutinho goes inside, [Yusuf] Demir doesn't go too deep and that's the way it is. With Ansu [Fati] or [Ousmane] Dembele it's different, you have more speed, but you have to look for alternatives."
"Before the game you think about winning, especially at home, but our bad start made the game difficult for us. We didn't come in strong, it was our fault.
"The opponent, after scoring, wasted time from minute two, defended more, did not leave spaces and this is difficult.
"We improved during the game. We changed and we played with crosses from the wings. We put energy into scoring. We wanted more, but one point is better than nothing. We deserved the draw."
Koeman was close to being dismissed at the end of last season but managed survive into the new campaign.
His contract at the club expires at the end of the season and it is claimed it will cost up to €12 million to fire Koeman now.
