Carlo Ancelotti: 10 more years at Real Madrid!
Carlo Ancelotti has said he would be willing to stay at Real Madrid for 10 years if the club need him to, but admitted it is the last managerial spell of his career.
The 62-year-old recently won La Liga with the capital club, taking Real Madrid’s tally to 35 league titles in total and adding to Ancelotti’s impressive personal collection.
The title also meant that Ancelotti has now won a league title in each of Europe’s top five leagues – he won Serie A with Milan, the Premier League with Chelsea, Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain, the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich and now adds the Spanish championship in his second spell with Real Madrid.
How long with Ancelotti be at Real Madrid?
After winning the title, the coach was asked about his future, and he admitted that he wouldn’t manage another club after Real Madrid but said he would stay as long as the club want him to.
Speaking to Prime Video, Ancelotti said: “After this Real Madrid chapter I will probably retire. But if Real wants me to stay here 10 years, I'll stay another 10 years.”
In Ancelotti’s first spell at Real Madrid, the club won two trophies: the Copa del Rey, when they beat Barcelona in the final, and then the Champions League in the same season, when they beat Atletico Madrid in the final.

They were, however, missing a league title, and Ancelotti was sacked in the summer of 2015 for his failure to win either league or Champions League in his second season in charge.
After spells at Napoli and Everton, there was doubts over whether Ancelotti could manage at the highest level again, but he has proven his quality this season, and could still win yet another Champions League title at the end of it.
His side have to overturn a 4-3 deficit in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City, and should they do that, they will face one of Liverpool or Villarreal in the final in Paris at the end of May.
