Barcelona are once again gearing up for an ambitious summer transfer window.
The Catalans, however, remain in a far from ideal financial state, which could curtail their plans unless fresh funds enter over the coming weeks and months.
There may be relief on the horizon, in the shape of a lucrative new deal.
Last Thursday, members voted to sell a significant portion of the club's licensing, merchandising and television rights, netting them up to €800 million.
That would have a direct impact on their access to transfer funds, with as much as €200m available immediately for use this summer.
The sale of players would further boost that pot, and exits are more than possible at Camp Nou.

But the two clubs are some way off from striking a deal, as Barca seek a fee worth around €100m while the Red Devils value the Netherlands midfielder at just over half that figure.
If they can find a compromise, De Jong's departure would certainly help to fund the club's bid to add top talent to their ranks.
Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde, Kalidou Koulibaly and Bernardo Silva are just some of the big names to be linked to Camp Nou recently, while ex-Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is expected to sign for the Catalans after cutting ties with the Blues.
Could Barca land Lewandowski?
Of all Barcelona's targets, Lewandowski stands out as the absolute priority for a club which struggled to replace Lionel Messi's prodigious goalscoring last term.
The Bayern star is set on leaving the club, but with one year left on his contract Barca will have to make an offer that convinces the Bundesliga champions to dispense with his services.
According to Sport Barca are preparing an offer worth an initial €40m for the 33-year-old, with an additional €10m to be paid further down the line in bonuses.
The Blaugrana's first bid of €32m was dismissed out of hand by Bayern, who are determined to get the best deal possible for their record-breaking striker while still considering his contract situation and vocal desire to leave.
