Real Madrid ready RECORD Mbappe transfer bid
Real Madrid are prepared to break their transfer record for a second time this summer in order to secure the transfer of Kylian Mbappe from PSG, according to a report.
Los Blancos have already signed Jude Bellingham for €103 million from Borussia Dortmund, but L’Equipe believes that the Spanish side will go even higher for Mbappe before the transfer window closes on 1 September.
A bid of €180 million is expected by PSG, which was the figure that Florentino Perez offered the Parc des Princes side in 2021, when Mbappe was in the same situation with a year left on his contract. It is even stated that there are whispers that Real Madrid may be willing to pay as much as €200m for the 24-year-old superstar.

Mbappe stuck in PSG limbo
Mbappe currently finds himself in a state of limbo after announcing his decision not to take up a one-year additional option in his PSG contract.
The French side have frozen him out of their first-team affairs, with the striker sitting out the tour of Japan and South Korea while also being consigned to train with those players PSG have put up for sale.
Presently, there is no expectation that he will play any part in Saturday’s opening Ligue 1 match against Lorient at Parc des Princes. Furthermore, the expectation is that Mbappe will remain on the sidelines indefinitely until this situation is resolved one way or another.
The player has even turned down a new PSG deal that would have had a “guaranteed sale clause” in it for next summer.
Real Madrid, who PSG believe have an agreement to sign Mbappe next summer, are not blinking, meanwhile.
Nevertheless, L’Equipe states that there is €180m available for Perez to finally launch an offensive on PSG for Mbappe, though it may take the player explicitly saying that he wants the transfer to prompt the president into action.
