Why Mbappe did not announce Real Madrid signing in PSG goodbye message
Kylian Mbappe announced his exit from PSG on Friday night in a message broadcast on social media, but while it is an open secret the 25-year-old will join Real Madrid, there was no mention of the Bernabeu outfit from the France star.
Mbappe to Real Madrid is a transfer rumour that has been circulating since he refused to take up the option of an extension in his PSG deal so dramatically last summer.
But the transfer is finally happening, so why did the superstar not announce the name of his destination as he said goodbye to Les Parisiens?

RMC journalist Fred Hermel, who specialises in reporting on Los Blancos has given the reason.
“There is a protocol to follow when you go to Real Madrid,” he said.
“Having spoken about it with certain managers, I know that Real Madrid do not want to humiliate PSG in this saga. They want it to be done properly, clearly.

“We know that when Real Madrid brings in a player, they like for the player to start doing the job himself.
“They never want to appear to be the villain of the story, who came to plunder a player or to negotiate behind the back of another club.”
When will Mbappe be announced by Real Madrid?
It has been widely reported that Mbappe will not be proclaimed a Real Madrid player before the Champions League final on 1 June.
L’Equipe, meanwhile, has indicated that there will be no announcement before 3 June but there will be a formalisation of the deal before Euro 2024 starts in Germany. The tournament begins on June 14.
This leaves a window of 11 days in which Real Madrid could finally unveil Mbappe as their newest signing.
Meanwhile, the France star is set to say farewell to PSG on Sunday at Parc des Prince, where Luis Enrique’s side will play host to Toulouse in their final Ligue 1 match of the season.
