It’s shaping up to be a busy summer for Barcelona with plenty of work left to do for Hansi Flick’s side.

One player who faces an uncertain future at the club according to AS is Raphinha.

The Brazilian winger has recently admitted he has thought about quitting football all together after struggling last season while preparing for the Copa America in Brazil.

"Well, recently I thought in leaving everything by personal and professional problems. I thought in desisting, leave the football, because it did not have need to go through some mental problems or by difficulties and aggressions by part of the means or of fans" Raphinha said in a press conference.

Now AS reports that with Barcelona’s desire to bring in another winger, the Brazilian’s future is up in the air at the club.

In all likelihood, Raphinha will start the new season as a substitute in Flick’s team.

Mika Faye closing in on surprise Barcelona exit

Faye is one of the most highly rated young players in Barcelona’s La Masia at the moment. However, since the beginning of the window, window it has become apparent he is unlikely to continue his future at the club.

Barcelona are keen to let him go this summer and bolster the club’s financial situation. According to Sport, he is closing in on an exit with Porto currently leading the race for his signature.

According to the report, Porto are willing to offer €15m for Faye’s services and that should be enough for an agreement to be struck between the two sides.

Barcelona miss out on €8m cash boost after UEFA rule

Jean-Clair Todibo’s move from AS Nice to Manchester United has been thwarted due to a UEFA rule.

With both sides competing in the Europa League and having the same majority and minority owners in Ineos, securing Todibo a move to Old Trafford has become a very difficult operation for Manchester United.

UEFA’s rules prevent the transfer of players moving from two clubs with the same owners who are competing in the same UEFA competition.

This means that Barcelona are unlikely to receive the €8m cash boost they were set to receive from Todibo’s proposed move to Manchester United according to Mundo Deportivo.

Alex Baena gives Barcelona admission amid proposed transfer

On the back of a superb season for Villareal Alex Baena is on Barcelona’s transfer radar this summer and it seems like the Spanish international would be open to a move to the Catalans.

As per Mundo Deportivo, he has recently admitted he enjoys Barcelona’s style and believes moving to the club could be to his benefit.

"Playing for Barça is one of my biggest dreams because it is the best team in the world" Baena said.

"I like Barça's style of play, possession, the ball, they are always attacking and I think it benefits me."

It remains to be seen whether the Catalans will make a move but this is certainly very encouraging words for the club’s recruitment team.
