Chelsea want ANOTHER goalkeeper as Arsenal youngster linked
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Arsenal goalkeeper Karl Hein, according to reports.
The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Real Valladolid in Spain, where he has impressed. A report from the country, in Fichajes, has made the sensational claim that Chelsea are among the sides keen on signing him permanently and Arsenal would be willing to sell him for a fee of around €15-20 million.
The outlet states: "The question now is what Arsenal will decide. The London club, aware of the interest their loaned player has generated from two of their domestic rivals, could consider selling him in the next transfer window.

"However, they could also opt to keep Hein under contract, as he could be the successor to their current first-choice goalkeeper. In this context, Chelsea and Tottenham are reportedly willing to compete in a possible bid for the Estonian, which could inflate his value in the market."
Chelsea already have Robert Sanchez as their first choice, while Filip Jorgensen was brought in over the summer, too. It's thought that Hein would come in as a backup for both men, though Sanchez has been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge before.
Hein signs new deal
Hein recently extended his Arsenal contract, with the north London outfit managing to convince the talented youngster to remain at the Emirates despite significant interest in his services from elsewhere. But they shipped him out on loan for the duration of the 2024-25 season.
"Karl impresses us on a daily basis with his attitude and commitment," the Gunners boss Mikel Arteta said at the time. "We appreciate being able to contribute to his development. I would like to congratulate him on earning a new contract."
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners allow Hein to come back into the fold next year or if they allow him to make the move away.
The Gunners were credited with an interest in Las Palmas man Alvaro Valles earlier in the summer. More recently, Arsenal have taken a liking to Espanyol shot-stopper Joan Garcia.
As for Chelsea, their new arrival Jorgensen was not named in the matchday squad for the weekend's Premier League clash against Liverpool but Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca said that he is now back in contention for the game against Newcastle.
