Real Madrid 'left speechless' after watching Endrick for 12 minutes
Real Madrid scouts sent to watch Endrick have been bowled over by the talents shown by the 16-year-old Palmeiras wonderkid.
The La Liga giants are big fans of the forward, who has recently broken into the first team at the reigning Copa Libertadores champions towards the end of Brazil's 2022 Serie A campaign.
Scout Juni Calafat has taken a special interest in Endrick, having previously overseen the club's observation of Brazil-based promises Vinicius Junior and Rodygo as well as Uruguayan Federico Valverde and young France star Eduardo Camavinga.
Endrick recently became the youngest player in Palmeiras history when he made his debut at the age of 16 years, two months and 16 days against Coritiba at the start of October.
And the reports coming back from Sao Paulo suggest that Madrid will soon be looking to add the teenager to their ranks of young stars.
Libertad Digital claims that emissaries sent by the Merengue were left "speechless" by what they saw from Endrink in a recent Serie A clash between Palmeiras and Avai.
A 12-minute cameo off the bench was enough to wow those present, as he recorded his first senior assist to set up Vanderlan and round off a comfortable 3-0 win for the Verdao, who sit 10 points clear at the Brasileirao summit with just five rounds remaining.
PSG battle for wonderkid's signature
Madrid, however, are not the only European giants following the wonderkid.
Paris Saint-Germain too are keeping a close eye on his progress and even filed an offer worth 20 million, which was turned down by Palmeiras.
Endrick first burst onto the scene at the start of 2022 with a string of dominant displays in the 'Copinha', the prestigious junior football tournament organised in Sao Paulo which features some of Brazil's strongest teams and young talents.
Playing against opponents up to five years his senior, the 15-year-old smashed six goals across the competition, including one of Palmeiras' four strike in a one-sided victory over rivals Santos in the final.
His reputation was further enhanced in April during the U17 Montaigu Tournament in France, which Brazil won thanks in large part to five goals from the prodigy in just four games.
