'No truth' in Camavinga to Arsenal rumours
Eduardo Camavinga has been linked with a loan move to Arsenal from Real Madrid, but his agent has told transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano there is "no truth" in the rumours.
Camavinga has only started five of his 16 La Liga games at Real this season, with Toni Kroos and Luka Modric invariably joined by Aurelien Tchoumeni in midfield since Casemiro's €80 million move to Manchester United.
Arsenal need a central midfielder, meanwhile, with their depth in the position behind Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey not what the Premier League leaders would like it to be.

Accordingly, a move to the Emirates from the Bernabeu might have appeared to make sense for all parties, but Camavinga's agent Joshua Barnett shot down the suggestions when asked by Romano.

Camavinga 'happy in Real Madrid'
"There's no truth [in links to Arsenal and Chelsea]," he said. "Of course every club in the world would want him, but he's very happy in Real Madrid and Real Madrid are very happy with Camavinga."
Real coach Carlo Ancelotti has also subbed Camavinga off in five of his league outings, but he insists the 20-year-old France international is part of his plans.

"We will not let Camavinga leave," he said. "He's untouchable - like Modric and Toni Kroos."
Camavinga joined Real from Rennes for €31m in August 2021, and while he might have Modric and Kroos in his way for now, they are 17 and 12 years his senior respectively, and it is surely only a matter of time until he starts more often than not.
An aseet on both sides of the ball, Camavinga has averaged three tackled and four shot-creating actions per game when he has featured for Real over the last year, and he and Tchouameni could dominate their midfield for the next decade.
