Mbappe caught watching Real Madrid at PSG gala
Kylian Mbappe’s story with Real Madrid seems to be a never-ending one and there’s another chapter to add to it after Thursday night.
Mbappe was at the centre of a transfer rumour mill last year with a move to the Spanish and European champions looking likely at one point.
But a late U-turn forced a change of heart as he ended up extending his contract with Paris Saint-Germain for a further three years, leaving Real Madrid disappointed.

However, they may have some encouragement after his latest act, as he was spotted watching their recent Copa del Rey match against Atletico Madrid.

Mbappe was at a gala with the Strong3r Foundation, which was attended by the PSG squad at the Gabriel Pavillon in Paris and he was sat next to Achraf Hakimi, his close friend.
He was caught watching the Copa del Rey clash between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid on his phone while sat next to the former Los Blancos player.

The video was as part of an Instagram story and Mbappe was completely unaware he was being filmed, but it has caught the eye of many and the rumour mill has begun once again.
It’s not clear whether Mbappe regularly follows Real Madrid’s matches this season but the clip could perhaps provide an indication into his interest in the club’s results.

It’s well known that Mbappe has been a fan of the club since he was a child and it wouldn’t be surprising if he still wants them to keep doing well and follows their results.
Earlier in the season, it was reported that Mbappe was unhappy with PSG despite his contract renewal but that was just a matter over his unpaid wages, which has now been resolved.
How this matter over him watching Real Madrid on his phone plays out remains to be seen, but it certainly made for an interesting clip.
