Barcelona are eyeing a move for another Manchester City star and it could be their long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets.

That would leave Barcelona needing to find a replacement, and it could come in the form of Rodri, the Manchester City midfielder who is one of the best in his role.
Barcelona eye Rodri
Rodri isn’t the first Manchester City player to be linked to Barcelona this season, with Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan also rumoured to be of interest.
Interest in Gundogan has dated back to October and given the fact that he is out of contract at the end of the season, a move to the Camp Nou could be possible for him.

According to Football Insider, Barcelona will have to fork out a big sum for the Spain international - a fee in the region of €90 million.
That could be a stumbling block for Barcelona, given their current financial predicament which has left them scrambling for free transfers to bolster their squad.
The option of Barcelona is appealing to Rodri, who believes the Blaugrana have a similar style of play to that of Manchester City and would allow a convenient transition.
Barcelona have identified other options to replace Busquets, such as Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad and Ajax’s Edson Alvarez, and they are assessing all the possible options they have.
Over the course of the season, Frenkie de Jong has also been playing there, prompting suggestions he will remain at Barcelona for the long run.
There have been talks of a new contract for Busquets but with pen not put to paper yet, they will have to plan for his possible departure anyways.
