The two Barcelona stars to be chopped to make way for Vitor Roque
Barcelona will need to sell at least one player if they want to bring in Vitor Roque this summer, according to Spanish media.
The Brazilian wonderkid has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou for months and it appears that a transfer is in the final stages. The biggest question mark has always been, however, when exactly the 18-year-old will join.
Barcelona want to bring the Athletico Paranaense striker in this summer already, but their finances may not allow them to register the precocious youngster. A few weeks ago, reports surfaced claiming that the Blaugrana had hatched a plan that would see them sign Roque but send him back to his current club for another year in case they can't register him.

Now, reports claim that there may yet be a way for Xavi and company to have the player at their disposal heading into next season, but it will involve selling at least one big name.
Fati or Torres to be axed
According to SPORT, Barcelona will do everything in their power in order to get Roque in this summer. Consequently, they are open to offloading one of their big-name attackers - in fact, selling one of them is deemed essential.
The most likely candidates and the ones Barcelona consider the most dispensable are Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres, claims the report. This shouldn't be a massive surprise seeing as though neither has been getting as much regular game time as players of their quality should be getting.

Torres in particular has really failed to live up to the hype and he has been linked repeatedly with a Barcelona exit in recent months. Fati, too, has not quite kicked on as expected considering that he was once the hottest prospect coming out of the famed La Masia academy, though whether he could potentially depart is more up in the air.
Selling either of them would, it is claimed, free up the necessary resources that would allow Barcelona to already register Roque this summer, a prospect that must be quite exciting to the Blaugrana hierarchy.
