Real Madrid: Mbappe delivers personal message to Perez

Kylian Mbappe personally apologised to Florentino and Real Madrid for the way he carried out his decision last summer.

The Frenchman was linked with a move to Los Blancos from PSG but opted not to go, signing fresh terms with the French outfit.

It was a shock move that enraged the hierarchy at Real Madrid. But Revelo reports that the have club accepted an apology from Mbappe.

This may open the door for the superstar to make a move to the club in 2024, a move the side are reportedly weighing up.

Karim Benzema has opted to stay for another year, but they are looking for an elite forward for 2024.

Indeed, though the French striker has vowed to stay at PSG for another season, with just one year left in his contract he might leave on a free transfer.

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone believes that Mbappe will eventually move to the Santiago Bernabeu."Do I see Mbappe at Madrid? Yes, Real Madrid always signs the best. Mbappe at Real Madrid and Messi at Barcelona would be fantastic for La Liga," he told COPE.

"I would like to meet up with Ancelotti at some point, I think he is an extraordinary person, I love him. Maybe we can get together to talk about some Brazilian player that I might have," he added.

Real Madrid have also been linked with a move with Erling Haaland of Manchester City, though he claims to be very happy at the Etihad.

The striker has broken a number of records at his new club, in what was a breathtaking season.

Though Mbappe is certainly liked by Real Madrid, the stunning form of Vinicius Jr may make them think twice.
