Real Madrid line up BARGAIN Galactico after Mbappe transfer
Real Madrid are still working on bringing Kylian Mbappe to the club, but he is not the only star name they are looking at signing this summer.
Mbappe, 24, has told Paris Saint-Germain that he wants to stay at the Parc des Princes for the 2023/24 season, but he will not extend his contract, which is due to expire next year.
As a result, Nasser Al-Khelafi has provided the Frenchman with an ultimatum: sign a new deal or be sold this window. The delicate situation with Mbappe has alerted Real Madrid, who have been long-term admirers of the forward.

The loss of Karim Benzema to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad has further fuelled speculation of Mbappe joining Real Madrid as Los Blancos need a reliable goal-scorer to lead the line; it’s unlikely that loan signing Joselu will be that man.
However, Mbappe has not yet agreed a deal with Real Madrid, and the Spanish side have been working on another transfer instead, according to Foot Mercato.
The French publication have reported that Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies is likely to join Real Madrid this summer. Los Blancos are said to be focusing on left-back, despite the arrival of Fran Garcia.

Ferland Mendy is expected to leave, while Eduardo Camavinga’s main position is in midfield, although he may find minutes hard to come by in that role due to the signing of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
Real Madrid have reportedly made signing Davies a priority this summer and have been buoyed by his contract situation at the Allianz Arena. The Canadian’s current deal is set to expire in 2025 and although extension talks have begun, they have reportedly not progressed recently.
However, Florentino Perez is prepared to wait until 2024 to sign Davies. According to the report, Real Madrid are willing to offer €40 million plus €10m in add-ons for the Canada international next summer as they look to find a replacement for Mendy.
That fee is below Davies' Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) - which stands at €57.2m.
