Saudi Arabia make MASSIVE offer for another Real Madrid star
Real Madrid legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema are already in Saudi Arabia, and they could be joined by another recent 'Galactico' in due course, according to reports in Spain.
Ronaldo became the highest paid player of all time when he swapped Manchester United for the Saudi Pro League last winter, joining Al-Nassr on a €200 million a year deal, and he will now come up against former teammate and reigning Ballon d'Or winner Benzema, who recently joined Al-Ittihad.
Luka Modric has turned down approaches from Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal to stay at Madrid, signing a one-year contract extension in the Spanish capital, but another Real star is in the Saudi Pro League's sights in the shape of Ferland Mendy.

Mendy 'on Saudi Arabia's radar'
"Ferland Mendy is on Saudi Arabia's radar and it seems that Real Madrid could receive an offer in the €30 million range, at least that's what the club is expecting, club sources told Managing Madrid," write the aforementioned.

"With Mendy's future in the Spanish capital uncertain as his agent insists on a contract extension -his current deal expires in 2025 - this would be a good opportunity for Real Madrid to sell the Frenchman and target Alphonso Davies to replace him."
Mendy fell down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu last season, with Carlo Ancelotti increasingly trusting Eduardo Camavinga - a midfielder by trade - at left-back. Real have also re-signed Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano, making Mendy surplus to requirements.

The France international is valued at €35.9m by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm, so picking him up for €30 would still represent good business.
The report from Managing Madrid doesn't specify which Saudi Pro League club are ready to make a move for Mendy, but English Premier League sides Manchester City, Arsenal and Newcastle have also been credited with an interest in recent months.
