Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid THIS SUMMER back on!
Kylian Mbappe could move to Real Madrid this summer after all, despite making his return to the Paris Saint-Germain first-team picture at the weekend.
Mbappe had previously been excluded from PSG's pre-season trip to Japan and South Korea with the club firmly in the belief that their star player had agreed to join Madrid on a free at the end of the season.
But he returned on Saturday, coming off the bench to score a penalty in the French champions' 1-1 draw away to Toulouse. It seemed the frost between Mbappe and Nasser Al-Khelaifi had thawed.. but the player still hasn't extended his contract.

And now Real hope to get the player for a knockdown price at the end of the summer transfer window, according to SportBild.

Tactical timing
"The Spaniards only want to submit their offer at the very end of the transfer window (until 1 September) in order to avoid a poker game and to put pressure on Paris," reports Axel Hesse.
"Perhaps not until 29 or 30 August. The offer should be around €120 million. Real have had the framework in place for his transfer for weeks."

Real would clearly prefer to sign the payer for free a year from now, but there is a risk he extends with PSG as he did last May when they thought his arrival was a matter of course, or that a Premier League giant like Manchester United swoops.
Whilst €120m is a significant outlay, Mbappe is valued at €135m by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm and has an ETV of €162.5m, and the opportunity cost of waiting until next summer could prove yet bigger.
How Real would fund the transfer remains unclear. They spent €103m on Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham this summer and also have to pay for an extensive redevelopment of their Santiago Bernabeu home.
