Messi tells Beckham to sign Real Madrid star
Barcelona legend Lionel Messi is ready to use his growing influence at Inter Miami to deal a blow to his old LaLiga rivals Real Madrid.
Messi, who limped out of the club's most recent fixture, is ready to advise the MLS side in their transfer dealings while he is with the club and during the summer was able to lure both Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets to the club from Barcelona.
According to Defensa Central, he is set to tell Miami co-owner David Beckham to raid Real Madrid for veteran midfielder Luka Modric.

It is said that he has “expressly requested” Beckham to sign the Croatia international, who is now 38 years old.
Modric was strongly linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer, when there was doubt as to whether he would sign a new contract. He ultimately did pen a deal, but that expires next summer, at which point he will become a free agent.
Messi believes that Modric will fit “perfectly” into the Inter Miami side.

It is even reported that the MLS franchise attempted to move for the former Tottenham star earlier this summer but were knocked back after the player decided that he wanted another season at Real Madrid.
Competition for Inter Miami may come from the Saudi Pro League, and to than end they are ready to make what is described as a “huge financial offer” from next June.
Modric, meanwhile, is not expected to make a decision over his future until the closing weeks of the present season.

Modric has been with Real Madrid since 2012 and has established himself in that time as a genuine all-time legend of the club.
He has played nearly 500 matches for Los Blancos and has picked up three LaLiga titles, two Copas del Rey and five Champions League crowns.
Individually, Modric won the 2018 Ballon d’Or after helping Croatia to the World Cup final.
