Real Madrid target Bayern Munich star as 'key player'
Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, has set the goal of signing Alphonso Davies in the summer of 2024, with the Canadian being one of his key targets.
A report from Defensa Central states that the Spanish giants are hoping to land Davies in a year’s time, while they are aiming to take advantage of his contract ending on June 30, 2025.
At this point, if Davies had not signed fresh terms, he would have to be sold, otherwise, the club would risk losing him on a free.

It is thought that Real Madrid are planning to make an offer for the 22-year-old - and it’s believed that personal terms are not expected to be a problem.
Real Madrid still have the ambition of bringing in Kylian Mbappe during the same window, and this could prove somewhat problematic, but there is confidence that there is enough money available to bring in both players.
It would mean, however, that they may have to sell two players, some believe to be Dani Ceballos - who has been linked to Aston Villa - and Brahim Diaz, to ensure that the funds are there.
Both players have not found many minutes this campaign so it’s likely that they will be moved on if necessary.
Davies' valuation
Their sale could see a return of around €25million for the club, which will help Real Madrid bring in Davies, who has a valuation of around €70m.
Davies is considered one of the best full-backs in the world today. The left-back has been an asset for Bayern since joining from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018, becoming one of the first names on the team-sheet for the Bundesliga club.
But Real Madrid have a project in mind and wish to see a new mould of young talent come through over the course of the next two years.
