Real Madrid get ‘FREE PATH’ to sign Mbappe as stunning PSG revelation made
Kylian Mbappe appears increasingly destined to sign for Real Madrid as it has been revealed that PSG do not want to renew the France international forward’s contract.
AS reports that Los Blancos have a “free path” to sign Mbappe, with PSG no longer interested in extending the deal of the 24-year-old attacker.
The forward spent the summer in dispute with the Ligue 1 leaders, even missing the opening game of the season as he was frozen out by the upper management of the club, yet those incidents appeared to have been forgotten as the player has returned by scoring 15 goals in 15 games.

The dispute centred around Mbappe’s contract, which expires on 30 June 2024, after which he will become a free agent as it stands. The attacker refused to take up the option of a one-year extension, sending PSG into a tailspin as they tried to offload the superstar, who finished third in the 2023 Ballon d'Or.
Now AS reports that a “reliable source” has told them that the French side “rule out presenting a renewal offer to the France stance”.
It is claimed that PSG cannot pay him more than his current deal, opening the way for Real Madrid to sign the player unchecked.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, are ready to offer the player a salary of €35 million per year and will attempt to persuade him with their strong sporting project.
It is pointed out, however, that this could be a difficult challenge given that Mbappe appears very happy in Paris currently and is likely to take his negotiations deep into the spring, by which time the situation may have changed.
Mbappe clause causes confusion
AS’ report centres around the clause in Mbappe’s contract that he failed to take up last summer, whereby he unilaterally could have extended his deal until 2025.
The option in the contract, however, has long expired, so this argument that is presented is no longer valid.
Of course, it is possible that PSG are hoping that Mbappe agrees to identical terms to the clause, at which point the two parties could reach an agreement, yet the Parc des Princes side would quickly find themselves in the same position as they are in if that were to be the case.
It would also be extremely surprising, though, if they simply gave up on Mbappe and allowed him to join Real Madrid for free.
