Kylian Mbappe will take a pay cut to join Real Madrid, but his sporting influence could reflect what he enjoyed at Paris Saint-Germain if recent reports are to be believed.

Although neither club nor player have officially confirmed the move, it is an open secret that Mbappe will join Real from PSG on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Madrid are set to pay Mbappe €225 million over a five-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu, with €150m of that a signing on bonus with the rest made up by a yearly salary of €15m - down from the €22m they offered him in 2022.

Alongside his reduced pay, it was widely expected that Mbappe wouldn't be given such special treatment in the Spanish capital as he has received in the French - Neymar's sale to Saudi Arabia and subsequent replacement by Ousmane Dembele at PSG was reportedly at Mbappe's behest.

But it would appear Real have now told Mbappe a pair of signings will be made that could smooth his transition to life in Spain.

Davies and Yoro to follow Mbappe

"Real Madrid have reportedly promised Kylian Mbappe that they'll sign both Alphonso Davies and Leny Yoro alongside the Frenchman in the summer," reports TEAMtalk's Ciaran McCarthy.

That correlates with recent FootballTransfers information. Indeed, Real have reportedly already 'reached a verbal agreement' with Davies, with Bayern Munich ready to cash in if he doesn't extend his existing deal beyond 2025.

Young centre-back Yoro has been sounded out too, with the expectation on Real's part that he doesn't discuss terms with PSG as he looks to wind his Lille contract down.

Alongside Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Ferland Mendy, Yoro would be another fellow Frenchman for Mbappe in Madrid.

Left-back Davies could be an on-field boon, meanwhile, his pace up that flank creating more space for Mbappe to exploit - assuming a certain Vinicius Junior is happy switching sides.
