Alphonso Davies to Real Madrid BACK ON
Bayern Munich have received the green light to sign Theo Hernandez, paving the way for Alphonso Davies' Real Madrid move.
The Canadian left-back has been the subject of a transfer saga that has already dragged on for months despite the fact that the summer window is still a fairly long way away.
Out of contract in 2025 and having so far shown no inclination to extend his deal despite an ultimatum from Bayern Munich, the 23-year-old could be on the move this summer. If the Bavarians fail to agree fresh terms with Davies, they will put him on the market.

Real Madrid have been courting the defender since at least October, but they know that they are in a strong negotiating position. Personal terms won't be an issue with Davies, so Los Blancos are prepared to play the waiting should Bayern's demands prove extortionate.
Indeed, it had recently been claimed that Real's interest in a summer move for Davies had cooled due to the impending departure of captain Nacho Fernandez. It was said that the capital club had shifted their focus to signing a centre-back in the upcoming window, with Davies then expected to arrive on a free transfer in 2025.
Davies to Real back on
However, now it seems that a deal to potentially sign Davies this year is back on. At least that is according to Mundo Deportivo, which claims that Bayern are closing in on securing a replacement for the Canadian.
For several weeks, AC Milan star Theo Hernandez has been touted as the successor to Davies in Bavaria but only on the condition that, well, he actually gets sold. Now, the Spanish outlet asserts that Bayern have received the Frenchman's green light over a move, indicating that they will indeed put Davies up for sale.

Hernandez's brother Lucas previously played for the German giants and he may or may not have put in a good word for Bayern. Either way, it is claimed that they have agreed personal terms with the 26-year-old and now need to settle on a transfer fee with Milan. Hernandez is under contract until 2026, but he 'wants to leave,' states the report.
