Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain will engage in a transfer battle once again this summer.

The two clubs had been tussling over Kylian Mbappe for three years before he finally agreed to join Los Blancos a few months ago.

The Frenchman's first PSG contract was set to expire in 2022, and he was expected to join Madrid on a free transfer thereafter.

However, the 25-year-old surprisingly agreed to a two-year extension, keeping him at the Parisian club until this summer.

The rumours never went away, though, and it was deemed a foregone conclusion that he would eventually move to Madrid.

Then, earlier this year, Mbappe finally decided to join the La Liga champions, once his current deal comes to an end.

It is thought that Mbappe's transfer will be officially announced in the coming weeks.

Real Madrid and PSG to battle again

The two clubs are now expected to fight over Lille defender Leny Yoro in the summer transfer window.

Spanish outlet Relevo previously reported that Yoro is Madrid's top priority.

Los Blancos were adamant on signing left-back Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich, but Ferland Mendy's upturn in form has changed their mind.

And, with club legend Nacho Fernandez set to leave this summer, it makes even more sense to sign the promising centre-back from Ligue 1.

Meanwhile, according to RMC Sport, PSG are determined to purchase a centre-back in the coming months.

And, in line with their new project that involves signing the best French talent, Yoro is one of their top targets.

As is always the case, it won't be easy to see off interest from the 14-time Champions League winners.

Where will Yoro end up next season?
