Five La Liga stars leaving on a Free Transfer
La Liga is probably the best place to shop this summer if you are looking for free transfer bargains.
There are a host of top players who see their contracts expire at the end of June and who will be available on a Bosman Transfer.
Some of these players are now into their thirties, but still have plenty to offer. While others remain at the peak of their careers.

The biggest name who will be leaving La Liga on a free transfer is not available at all.
Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos opted against signing a new contract because he has announced his decision to retire from football.
Kroos’ final game for Real Madrid was the Champions League final in which the Blancos claimed a fifteenth title with a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Kroos will retire from all football after Euro 2024 as he will take part in the tournament in Germany.
Kroos’ Real Madrid teammate Nacho will also leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the month.
Nacho captained Madrid to Champions League glory in his final game for the club.
The 34-year-old is interesting a number of clubs in Serie A, including Inter, who are searching for a new centre back.

Mario Hermoso to Aston Villa?
Mario Hermoso is the most wanted free transfer in La Liga this summer.
The defender will leave Atletico Madrid when his contract expires. Hermoso, 28, has interest from a host of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Aston Villa are in negotiations to sign Hermoso but there are also other Premier League and Serie A clubs who are keen.
Marcos Alonso will leave Barcelona on a free transfer after two years at the club.
The Spanish defender is liked by both Atletico Madrid and Girona, and could end up staying in Spain.
Finally, Iker Munain will leave Athletic Bilbao after two decades at the club. The Basque star departs a club legend and is available on a free transfer.
