When and what time is Kylian Mbappe's presentation at Real Madrid?

Kylian Mbappe has officially joined Real Madrid on a free transfer after his contract at Paris Saint-Germain expired at the end of June.

The France superstar was expected to join Los Blancos in 2022, but he rejected a dream move to the Santiago Bernabeu in order to extend his stay in the French capital.

However, Mbappe now opted against activating the one-year contract extension clause in his PSG deal and joined Real Madrid on 1 July.

The 25-year-old left PSG as their all-time record goalscorer with 256 strikes, overtaking Edinson Cavani in the process, and will be hoping to achieve a similar level of personal success at Real Madrid.

Mbappe won 15 major trophies during his time at the Parc des Princes, but he was unable to win the Champions League or the Ballon d’Or.

At Real Madrid, his chances of winning both trophies are likely to increase tenfold.

When is Kylian Mbappe’s Real Madrid presentation?

Real Madrid are famous for their elaborate player presentations, with an 85,000 sell-out crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu memorably welcoming Cristiano Ronaldo to the club in 2009.

Gareth Bale (2013) and James Rodriguez (2014) were also announced in front of a packed Bernabeu stadium, although Jude Bellingham didn’t receive the same treatment last summer.

However, Mbappe is set to be the star of the show following the conclusion of Euro 2024.

The Frenchman will be presented on the Santiago Bernabeu pitch on Tuesday 16 July at around 1200 CET. He will undergo his Real Madrid medical earlier in the morning.

Los Blancos fans are expected to fill the entirety of the stadium in order to welcome their latest Galactico to the club.

Mbappe was announced as a Real Madrid player on 3 June, but the Spanish giants opted against immediately unveiling him to supporters due to his participation at the 2024 European Championship with France.

As a result, they scheduled his presentation for 16 July - two days after the Euro 2024 final which was won by his new home, Spain.
