Real Madrid signing Kylian Mbappe is bracing himself to join a squad full of stars after Euro 2024 – and it appears that no one is frightened of the competition that the France star will bring to the Bernabeu.

Mbappe is a leading candidate to claim Ballon d’Or honours after a stellar personal campaign with PSG, in which he scored at the rate of nearly a goal per game.

He will find himself in an entirely new environment at Real Madrid, however. Vinicius Junior has performed to a stellar level on the left of the attack, which is Mbappe’s favoured role, meaning that the Frenchman may have to find another position.

It has been suggested that Rodrygo could be sacrificed to make way for the 25-year-old, but the Brazil star is not flustered by the prospect of having to compete with Mbappe for game time.

In comments relayed by AS, Rodrgyo explained: “It is possible to all play together. I think Ancelotti will find a way. Good players must play together.”

Meanwhile, he has pledged to help fellow new signing Endrick acclimatise himself to life at Real Madrid.

“He is very mature for his age. You feel it when talking with him and on the pitch you see it. For me, it's already a pleasure to be able to play with him, to be able to help him in one way or another. At Real Madrid I will help him, just like Vini did with me,” he said.

Rodrygo to Man City?

There are rumours suggesting that Rodrygo could be on his way out of Real Madrid, meanwhile.

Marca has previously reported that his future at the club is very uncertain.

Pundit Jose Felix Diaz explained: “The exit door is always open. Rodrygo’s desire to stay is not completely sealed. Manchester City are there, I know Guardiola called him. He’s not comfortable.”
