Four Real Madrid players who need a transfer this summer
Real Madrid are setting themselves up for dominance over the forthcoming years.
With Barcelona looking out of sorts, the domestic league title should be theirs for next season. They won another Champions League title, too, with Jude Bellingham, their addition from last summer, playing a crucial role.
This window they have brought in Kylian Mbappe and young star Endrick. It’s scary to think what this side will be capable of for the next generation.
But by the same token, some players in their squad must look to greener pastures if they’re going to continue their careers and not waste away on the bench. Here are five players who must look to leave Real Madrid this summer transfer window.

Dani Ceballos
Dani Ceballos has shown admirable tenacity in fighting for his place, but his form has been inconsistent. At 27, the former Arsenal man should be at his peak, yet he struggles to break into the team regularly.
Real Madrid cannot afford to rely on sporadic performances from the midfielder, while he needs minutes away to ensure that his career does not tail off entirely. There are younger, more promising talents vying for his position, so a transfer does make sense.
Ferland Mendy
Ferland Mendy has started only a handful of matches last season. The fullback was competing with the younger Fran Garcia and looks set to lose out on his place.
Real Madrid might not recuperate much from his sale but it would make sense for both parties if he left and was off their books.
Andriy Lunin
Andriy Lunin has already been linked with some top clubs in Europe. The Ukraine keeper will play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois next season and should look for a way out.
It hasn’t been the best Euro 2024 for Lunin, though. His terrible clearance fell to Dennis Man outside the box and he squared it to Nicolae Stanciu, who scored for Romania. Then Razvan Marin smashed it first time from outside the box, and it sailed under the hands of Lunin and into the bottom corner.

Rodrygo
Rodrygo is a sensational footballer, but arguably his career might be better away from the Santiago Bernabeu. The attacker will have to contend with fresh faces coming through at Real Madrid, including the aforementioned Mbappe.
The youngster was an undisputed starter in the front three alongside compatriot Vinicius Jr but may find game-time dry up with the Frenchman coming in. Interestingly enough, the winger recently denied he was jealous of Mbappe.
"For me, it's a pleasure to play with Mbappe, I always made it very clear. He's going to help our team a lot, he's going to help make it even stronger than it already is.”
