Real Madrid want Man Utd target following Kroos' retirement
Real Madrid are considering a surprise move for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot following Toni Kroos’ retirement.
Kroos, 34, will retire following the conclusion of Euro 2024 and Real Madrid have begun searching for his replacement as they look to bolster Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
Kylian Mbappe and Endrick have already arrived this summer, but Los Blancos aren’t yet satisfied and are also pursuing moves for Lille’s Leny Yoro and Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies.

Rabiot has now emerged as another transfer target, according to Diario AS and Mundo Deportivo.
The France international, who is currently at Euro 2024 with his nation, is due to become a free agent at the end of June and is yet to accept Juventus’ offer of an extended deal.
The Turin outfit have reportedly offered Rabiot a two-year contract extension with an annual salary of €7.5 million, but he hasn’t accepted this proposal as things stand. As a result, Real Madrid have entered the race to sign him.

Adrien Rabiot to leave Juventus?
In addition to the departure of Kroos, Dani Ceballos may also leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, with Real Madrid reportedly willing to accept offers of around €35 million.
Therefore, Ancelotti will be left with Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Luka Modric, Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde as his only senior midfielders, which is a key reason why Los Blancos are reportedly pursuing a move for Rabiot.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star has been linked with a move to Manchester United for the past few years and could end up joining the Red Devils this summer as they search for a Casemiro replacement.
AC Milan have also been touted to make a shock move for Rabiot, while Aston Villa were reportedly interested in a deal earlier this month. Unai Emery’s side are set to sell Douglas Luiz to Juventus and are looking to sign a replacement.
