Official: Real Madrid set €1bn revenue RECORD
Real Madrid have become the first football club to exceed €1 billion in revenue in a single season.
Los Blancos won LaLiga and the Champions League during an immense 2023-24 campaign, and their on-field success led to the largest revenue generated in football history.
Real Madrid posted an official statement that read: “Real Madrid become the first football club to exceed €1bn in revenue.

“Revenue for the 2023-24 season, excluding player transfers, reached €1.073bn, 27% more than the previous year.
“Real Madrid made a profit of €16 million in the 2023-24 year. The club maintains a solid financial situation with a net worth of €574m.”
The Spanish giants cruised to the league title last year, ending the campaign with a 10 point gap to Barcelona - their nearest challengers.

Jude Bellingham was a key player during his debut season at the Santiago Bernabeu, while Carlo Ancelotti was able to extract top performances from experienced stars Toni Kroos, Dani Carvajal and Nacho Fernandez.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s basketball team won the League, King's Cup and Spanish Super Cup titles, while they were a finalist in the Euroleague.
Real Madrid’s summer transfer business
So far this summer, Real Madrid have already completed the signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain (free) and Endrick from Palmeiras (€47.5m).
In addition, they have also been linked with Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies as Ancelotti looks to bolster his backline.
However, their pursuit of Leny Yoro ended in failure, with the French centre-back completing a move to Manchester United last week.
Real Madrid have three pre-season friendlies on the horizon, with Los Blancos set to face AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea in the USA. They will then play Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup, before kickstarting their LaLiga campaign against Mallorca.
