Vitor Roque’s wife Dayana Lis Roque appears to have branded Barcelona “evil” in a cryptic Instagram post.

Barca signed the 19-year-old Roque from Athletico Paranaense in January for €40 million. It was a deal that was meant to be concluded this summer but was brought forward as the Catalan club were in the midst of a scoring crisis, with Robert Lewandowski struggling to find his form.

But having been brought to Europe ahead of time, the teenager was barely used by the Catalan side. He managed only 353 minutes in total but still managed to score a creditable two goals.

Vitor Roque’s entourage went public over their frustration over his lack of game time.

It was even suggested that Roque could leave Barca permanently this summer, having been courted by many of Europe’s biggest clubs a year ago.

Ultimately, a one-year loan move to Real Betis was settled upon. The Seville club have the option of a further year and can also buy out the player’s contract at the end of the season.

Vitor Roque’s wife is angry

Dayana Lis, though, appears to be unhappy with the arrangement and seems to have hit out at the Blaugrana.

On her Instagram stories, she posted an image of a tiger, doubtless a nod to her husband, who is nicknamed ‘El Tigrinho’ with a cryptic message.

“I wish good luck to all those who act in evil; in the future, they will need it,” she said.

Vitor Roque, who has an Estimated Transfer Value of €35.1m, could make his debut for Betis against Real Madrid in the Bernabeu on Sunday. If he were to score, it would certainly go some way to smoothing over any fallout that may occur after his wife’s inflammatory post.
