Real Madrid are eyeing up two wonderkid defenders for 2025 after missing out on Leny Yoro.

After the signing of Kylian Mbappe, Los Blancos focused their energy on securing Lille centre-back Leny Yoro in the summer, but the European champions ultimately missed out.

Man Utd blew Real Madrid out of the water with a massive bid for the teenager and managed to convince Yoro to give up on his dream of playing at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid, after being confident of landing Yoro, are keen to ensure that a similar scenario does not transpire again with future targets such as Alphonso Davies.

Given that they failed to strengthen their backline in the summer, they are keen to make up for it next year.

To that end, Real Madrid are eyeing up Yarek Gasiorowski and Vitor Reis, according to AS. The Spanish outlet claims that both are on the club's 2025 shortlist, though they will likely only sign one of them.

Gasiorowski is a familiar name to Los Blancos fans because he is now a regular fixture in LaLiga for Valencia but also due to the fact that he has been associated with Real Madrid for some time.

Reis, meanwhile, is plying his trade at Palmeiras and is regarded as one of the biggest defensive talents in South America. Real Madrid, of course, have a good relationship with the Brazilian club after signing Endrick.

Real Madrid have had to contend with a defensive injury crisis, while some of their established centre-backs are already on the wrong side of 30. They know that they have to add more options in that department and one of these two wonderkids could be heading to Spain's capital before long.
