Davies' agent is lying! Real Madrid transfer a 'done deal'
Alphonso Davies' agent Nedal Huoseh has denied reports that an agreement with Real Madrid has been reached, but Spanish media continues to insist that a deal is done.
The Canada international remains one of the most talked-about players in the transfer market. The world's best left-back on his day, Davies has no shortage of suitors ahead of his contract expiration in the summer.
Bayern Munich and the 24-year-old have so far not reached an agreement over a new deal and an extension is looking increasingly unlikely despite a rapprochement in recent weeks.

The Bavarians have left the door open regarding fresh negotiations but they remain steadfast on their stance that Davies has not done enough in recent seasons to warrant a €20 million per year salary and €15m signing-on fee.
With a new deal not on the horizon, Davies will be free to negotiate with any interested clubs in January.
Davies denial denied
However, in recent days, some reports have gone so far as to suggest that Davies has already reached an agreement with his most persistent suitors, Real Madrid.
These claims have been categorically denied by his agent Nick Huoseh, who told transfer expert Fabrizio Romano: "This is not true. Though the player has many options, we have not agreed terms with any club.

"A new deal at FC Bayern could also be an option. Any reports suggesting otherwise are incorrect." Spanish media, however, won't take no for an answer, it seems. Madrid-based MARCA insists that a deal is done and that Huoseh has to play coy.
"With the hard-earned signing of Davies, with a closed agreement, something that the agent denies because he can't do anything else, plus the continuity of [Ferland] Mendy or Fran Garcia, [Real Madrid] would have the [left-back]position covered for many years," the outlet writes.
