The Blaugrana are never not making headlines in Spain and they have, of course, been in the news a lot lately due to the registration mess surrounding Dani Olmo.

The Spaniard's registration with LaLiga expired after Barcelona missed their December 31 deadline to re-register him and he is now unable to feature due to players only being permitted to have one license per season.

Last week, LaLiga and the Spanish federation officially rejected Barcelona's request to register Olmo and the club will now take the matter to court. But it is not just the league that has drawn the ire of president Joan Laporta.

Amid all of this chaos, Sevilla have been one of the clubs most persistently badgering LaLiga to exert pressure on - and potentially punish - Barcelona. This, Sport claims, has 'completely broken' the relationship between the two clubs.

Barcelona to veto any deals

The Spanish outlet claims that this isn't the first time either that Sevilla have antagonised the Barcelona hierarchy, as they were also one of the most outspoken clubs in the Negreira match-fixing case.

This, in turn, has now led to Barcelona chiefs making the radical decision to completely embargo their LaLiga rivals and 'veto' any potential deals with the Andalusians.

It is claimed that the 14th-placed side had been interested in signing Ansu Fati but that, in addition to the player not being keen, Barcelona have been 'clear that they will not facilitate any market agreement with Sevilla due to their manifest hostility.'

And this transfer embargo is not just for January either. It is claimed that Barcelona will also refrain from doing business with Sevilla in the summer.
