Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has been promised what is described as the “biggest contract in the history of sport” as the battle between Los Blancos and the Saudi Pro League for the Brazil star steps up.
Vini Jr might have missed out on the Ballon d’Or to Manchester City midfielder Rodri, but the 24-year-old is proving himself to be the most valuable property on the transfer market.

The Saudi Pro League is attempting to complete a statement coup by signing the attacker from Real Madrid, where he is under contract until 2027.
The Saudis are believed to be willing to pay Real Madrid a staggering €300 million for the forward, which would shatter the world transfer record, previously set when Neymar left Barcelona for PSG in 2017 for €222m. His Estimated Transfer Value (ETV), meanwhile, is set at €122m.
On top of this, Cadena SER has reiterated that Vini Jr will be offered a contract totalling €1 billion over five years, giving him a €200m annual salary. There is no formal offer on the table yet, but it has been promised to the player.
Saudi have already flexed their financial muscles to attract Cristiano Ronaldo to Al-Nassr, where he is the world's top-earning sportsperson.

Vini Jr’s ‘practically impossible’ Real Madrid demand
In response, Vini Jr, who currently earns €15m per year, has made a demand that he is better paid at Real Madrid than Kylian Mbappe, making him the top earner at the Bernabeu.
“If they offer him €20m, he will not renew,” journalist Tono Garcia told El Larguero. He went on to claim that it would take an offer of more than €25m to get the player to renew at Real Madrid – demands that are “practically impossible” for the Spaniards to accept.
Two meetings have already been held between Real Madrid and Vini’s camp to try to thrash out a deal. The player has already made the Champions League holders aware of his demands and it said that the “threat of ending up in Saudi Arabia is starting to become bigger and bigger”.
Vinicius Junior, meanwhile, will knock back any offer below his expectations and simply remain at the club until the end of his contract if Real Madrid refuse to sell, at which point he will depart as a free agent.
