Trent Alexander-Arnold deal is '99% done'

Barcelona are hoping to hijack Real Madrid’s deal to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold, but the England international’s move to Los Blancos is reportedly “99% done.”
Alexander-Arnold has just three months remaining on his current contract at Liverpool and he is expected to snub the chance to extend his stay at Anfield in order to join Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital over the past 18 months and the move is now virtually completed, according to AS.
The Spanish outlet claim that Alexander-Arnold has reached a full agreement with Real Madrid and the signing is “99% done.”
The England star is still able to sign a contract extension at Liverpool, however AS have reported that this is extremely unlikely and Alexander-Arnold is expected to pen a long-term deal at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Barcelona attempt Alexander-Arnold hijack
News that Alexander-Arnold is almost guaranteed to join Real Madrid follows reports that Barcelona attempted to hijack his move to the Spanish capital.
The Blaugrana have been linked with a number of right-backs ahead of the 2025 summer transfer window and they recently tried to convince Alexander-Arnold to join the club on a free transfer, as per Fichajes.
However, the Liverpool star reportedly rejected their advances due to his desire to join Real Madrid.
Alexander-Arnold has scored three goals and provided seven assists in 39 appearances across all competitions so far this season, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €53.4 million.
