Dean Huijsen (Bournemouth)

Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen has emerged as a key transfer target for Real Madrid in recent weeks amid his immense form under Andoni Iraola.

The Spain international has established himself as one of the world’s most promising young centre-backs since his arrival in the Premier League, and he is expected to leave Bournemouth this summer.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United are all interested in landing Huijsen, although Real Madrid appear to be the frontrunners in the race to secure his signature.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Trent Alexander-Arnold is almost guaranteed to join Real Madrid on a free transfer when his current contract at Liverpool expires at the end of June.

The England right-back has been on Los Blancos’ radar for several years and he is set to join the Spanish giants on a Bosman deal ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Alexander-Arnold could still extend his stay at Liverpool, but he is widely expected to snub the opportunity to sign a new deal at Anfield in order to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea)

Real Madrid were interested in signing Enzo Fernandez before his move to Chelsea in January 2023 and they have rekindled their pursuit of the Argentine amid questions over his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.

Fernandez is still expected to remain at Chelsea, but he has been heavily linked with a departure in recent weeks.

However, Real Madrid will face substantial competition from inter-city rivals Atletico Madrid, who are also eager to purchase the Chelsea superstar.

Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd)

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has reportedly been added onto Real Madrid’s transfer wishlist as they look to sign an able replacement for Luka Modric.

The Red Devils midfielder has excelled since moving to Old Trafford in 2020 and his form over the past few years has attracted the attention of Real Madrid.

Ruben Amorim is determined to keep Fernandes, however, and Man Utd are unlikely to sanction a sale unless they receive a monumental offer.

Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad)

Real Madrid have also identified Martin Zubimendi as a potential central midfield signing, although they will need to fight off significant competition from Arsenal to land him.

Mikel Arteta’s side are reportedly set to sign the Spain international this summer and Los Blancos must therefore hijack the Gunners’ deal if they want to bring Zubimendi to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 26-year-old has impressed at Real Sociedad in recent seasons and a summer transfer is expected to take place.
