Saudi Pro League CEO confirms BLOCKBUSTER Vinicius Jr transfer
The CEO of the Saudi Pro League is certain that Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr will move to Saudi Arabia very soon.
Vinicius Jr has been a key target for the big-spending league over the past year or so, with multiple reports that there is a very real possibility he could move to Saudi Arabia this summer.
And Omar Mugharbel, CEO of the Saudi Pro League, is certain that it is not a question of if Vinicius Jr will move to the Saudi Pro League but rather when?

What did Omar Mugharbel say?
“We do not dream of Vinicius because it is not a question of dream, but a question of time, and of negotiation," he said.
"Some of our clubs have what it takes to attract a talent like him. We'll see what happens."
There have been multiple reports that Vinicius Jr has a world record offer on the table from Saudi Arabia.

Relevo report that the Real Madrid superstar also has a €1 BILLION contract offer from Saudi Arabia.
This would see the Brazilian earn €200m per year over five seasons.
The offer is 20 times higher than what he currently earns at Real Madrid.
The plan is to make Vinicius Jr the face of the Saudi Pro League, and for him to also be a key ambassador for their hosting of the 2034 World Cup.
Real Madrid have made it clear that they will only sell Vinicius Jr if a club pays his €1 billion release clause, a figure that means it would cost Saudi clubs €2bn in total to sign the superstar.
According to Marca, Madrid have no intention of letting Vini Jr leave unless they are forced to.
There have been questions over whether Vini Jr is prepared to extend his Madrid contract that expires in 2027.
If he refuses then it is very likely that Madrid will decide to sell at the latest in 2026 to avoid losing him on a free transfer the next year.
Saudi Pro League riches
Saudi Arabia took the football world by storm during the 2023 summer transfer window as some of Europe’s most well-known players left the continent in order to join the nouveau richest league in the sport.
Cristiano Ronaldo had already made the move to Al-Nassr, but he was joined in the Saudi Pro League by Neymar, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, Aymeric Laporte, N’Golo Kante and Karim Benzema, among several others.
The summer of 2024 was a quieter affair but the Saudis plan to spend big again in 2025.
