Kylian Mbappe is the most valuable player at the 2024 European Championship following confirmation of his move to Real Madrid.

Los Blancos’ new signing will be hoping to guide France to glory in his first tournament as captain and the hopes of a nation are rested on his shoulders.

Mbappe became Paris Saint-Germain’s all-time record goalscorer during his time at the Parc des Princes, but he has finally departed in order to seal a dream move to Real Madrid on a free transfer.

However, before he makes his Los Blancos debut, Mbappe will be in action at Euro 2024 as he looks to make up for his penalty miss against Switzerland during the last tournament.

France were surprisingly knocked out at the last-16 stage at Euro 2020 after a penalty shootout defeat to Switzerland, with Mbappe missing the decisive spot kick.

But, he heads into Euro 2024 as the tournament’s most valuable player, according to his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV).

ETV is a market-leading transfer valuation algorithm designed and developed by Dutch data company SciSports, in partnership with FootballTransfers.

A player’s ETV is calculated by a variety of factors, namely: Skill, potential, recent performance, level of competition, contract duration, position and age.

Which Euro 2024 players are the most valuable?

While Mbappe leads the way with an ETV of €154.6 million, he is closely followed by his new Real Madrid team-mate Jude Bellingham. The England international is valued at €142.1m and he is one of five Three Lions stars to appear in the top 10.

Manchester City’s Phil Foden is the third-most valuable player at Euro 2024, courtesy of his €119.7m ETV, while Jamal Musiala (€118.9m) is fourth.

Musiala’s Bayern Munich team-mate Harry Kane is fifth, with an ETV of €108.5m, narrowly ahead of Arsenal starboy Bukayo Saka (€106.2m.)

Eduardo Camavinga is seventh, while Kai Havertz, Rodri and Declan Rice complete the top 10.
