Kylian Mbappe's speculated move to Real Madrid when his Paris Saint-Germain contract runs down in the summer seems inevitable.

The French star was the subject of two transfer bids from Los Blancos last summer that were rejected by the Paris club.

And the player himself has made no secret of his dream of pulling on the famous white of Real Madrid one day.

But, a former PSG star in Ronaldinho insists that Mbappe is already at the biggest club in the world and urged the player to stick it out in France's capital.

What did Ronaldinho say?

Ronaldhino spent two years at PSG between 2001 and 2003 and became one of the best players of his generation following a move to Barcelona.

He told the French club's official YouTube channel he believes Mbappe will star with PSG for years to come.

"All the players in the world want to play at Paris Saint-Germain, the best in the world are at PSG, so they're the best club in the world," he said.

"So I imagine he [Mbappe] will be here for a long time."

Ronaldinho had to leave PSG to win his first Champions League title, but he is confident Mbappe can lift the same trophy in Paris if he signs a new deal.

“Today, Paris Saint-Germain is a world benchmark. It would be great for his career, he is so young and has already achieved so many things," the Ballon d'Or winner continued.

"I think the Champions League is something that he is missing. And, it would be wonderful if he won it with Paris Saint-Germain.

"Everyone imagines that they have a chance to win the Champions League, because of the group of players they have."

Will Mbappe choose Madrid or PSG?

At still just 23-years-old, Kylian Mbappe has the world at his feet.

Already a World Cup winner, he would arguably walk into most teams in the world.

But he has already openly admitted a dream of one day playing at Santiago Bernabeu in order to emulate his hero, Cristiano Ronaldo.

He has scored 15 times this season, assisting in another 13 in his 24 appearances.

As fate would have it, Real Madrid have been drawn against PSG in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Despite Ronaldinho's words, it appears as if Mbappe has already made his mind up and will likely join Madrid in the summer as head coach Carlo Ancelotti rebuilds an ageing squad.
