'You have to grit your teeth!' - Champions League winner SAVAGES Kane over Real Madrid substitution
Thomas Tuchel was BLASTED in the wake of Bayern Munich’s Champions League elimination to Real Madrid this week.
With his Bayern side on the brink of heading through to the final, where they would have faced Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund, Tuchel withdrew attacking players Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala and Harry Kane and attempted to shut up shop.
Tuchel attempted to justify his decision to remove Kane and Musiala in the post-match press conference, in which he claimed Kane had suffered ‘back problems’ and Musiala had to be withdrawn due to a lack of fitness.

And now Dietmar Hamann, a former Bayern player and a Champions League winner in his own right with Liverpool in 2005, has questioned whether Kane had the stomach for the fight late on against Real, and suggested he should have remained on whatever the circumstances.
Kane moved from Tottenham for around €100 million last summer and has scored 44 goals in 45 games for the Bundesliga giants - his best goalscoring return to date.
However, Hamann has now accused the England captain of going missing when his side needed him most.
Kane substitution CATASTROPHIC for Bayern says Hamann
“If you bring in a player... the English national team captain who cost €100 million, he may not be Bayern's captain, but he is the most important player, the leading figure. Then he can’t go out after 80 minutes in a Champions League semi-final with back problems,” Hamann said on Saturday in his role as pundit on Sky Germany.
He compared the situation to that of Sane, the 28-year-old who was also replaced late on in the piece and who has suffered significant injury trouble in recent weeks.
“I still have some understanding for Sane because he hasn’t been able to train much at the moment,” Hamann continued.
“But when you are the English national team captain and cost 100 million, I have to expect him to grit his teeth.
“Those are the games where they need him. Psychologically it was of course a great sign for Madrid and catastrophic for Bayern.”
The injury will cost Kane an appearance in the league game on Sunday against Wolfsburg.
